Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of kariochi ("the Platform," "we," "us"), a music content distribution platform operated by Artem Korneev. By accessing or using kariochi, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

kariochi is a SaaS platform designed for independent music artists worldwide. The Platform enables artists to upload original audio tracks and video content, generate platform-optimized visuals, and publish content to connected social media accounts including TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, Telegram, and SoundCloud — all from a single dashboard. kariochi is a publicly available service, not a personal or internal tool.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use kariochi. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.

3. Your Account and Connected Platforms

To use publishing features, you must connect one or more third-party platform accounts (such as TikTok) via OAuth authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your connected accounts and for all activity that occurs through them. You may disconnect any platform at any time through your dashboard settings, which will immediately revoke the Platform's access to that account.

4. Content and Intellectual Property

• You retain full ownership of all audio, video, and image content you upload to kariochi.
• By uploading content, you grant kariochi a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process and transmit that content solely for the purpose of delivering the distribution service you requested.
• You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for all content you upload and distribute through the Platform.
• You agree not to upload content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others, violates applicable law, or violates the terms of service of any connected platform.
• Upon account termination or your request, we will delete your stored content within 30 days.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform to distribute content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, or otherwise harmful.
• Attempt to circumvent, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Platform's systems or security.
• Use automated means to access the Platform beyond the functionality it provides.
• Violate the terms of service of any third-party platform to which you publish content.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

6. Third-Party Platforms

kariochi integrates with third-party platforms including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Telegram, and SoundCloud. Your use of content published to those platforms is also governed by their respective terms of service. kariochi is not responsible for the policies, actions, or availability of those platforms. Content published to third-party platforms is subject to their moderation and removal policies.

7. TikTok Integration

When you connect your TikTok account, kariochi requests the following permissions:

• user.info.basic — used solely to verify and display your connected TikTok account identity within the kariochi dashboard. We retrieve your TikTok username and profile picture to confirm which account is linked. This information is never shared with third parties.
• video.publish — used solely to upload video content to your TikTok account at your explicit instruction. kariochi will never publish content to your TikTok account automatically or without your direct action. Each publish requires you to actively click "Publish" in the dashboard.

You may revoke TikTok access at any time through your kariochi dashboard or through TikTok's app permissions settings. Upon disconnection, all stored TikTok OAuth tokens are permanently deleted from our systems.

8. Data Protection and Privacy

Your use of kariochi is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We process personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable, and with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for California residents.

As a user, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data held by kariochi at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at artemkorneevmusic@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

kariochi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that published content will be accepted by third-party platforms. Platform APIs and policies are subject to change by their respective operators.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, kariochi and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of content, loss of revenue, or platform account actions taken by third parties. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to kariochi for violations of these Terms or for any reason at our discretion. We will provide reasonable notice where practicable. You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time by contacting us at artemkorneevmusic@gmail.com.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where feasible, by email or in-app notice. Continued use of kariochi after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to revised Terms, you may stop using the Platform and request deletion of your account.

13. Dispute Resolution

We encourage resolving any disputes informally first. Contact us at artemkorneevmusic@gmail.com and we will attempt to resolve the issue within 30 days. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or, where arbitration is not permitted by applicable law, through the courts of competent jurisdiction. Nothing in this section limits your rights under applicable consumer protection law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Users in the European Union retain all rights granted under EU consumer protection legislation, including the GDPR. Users in California retain all rights under the CCPA. No provision of these Terms is intended to waive any mandatory statutory right.
